I have been struggling to get started with a product I’m creating.  As I mentioned before, I love the feel of just old fashioned pen and paper to sketch out ideas.  However, I got a little motivation with some cool techno tools that I had around:  my iPad and my Amazon.com Stylus.

I bought the stylus to use with my Kindle, because I would never use it with my iPad, right?  Well, let me tell you how the marriage of the iPad and the stylus and a nifty app called simply, Paper, can inspire and motivate!

I’ve run amok with drawing mindmaps and sketches and just getting my thoughts out on Paper.  The app lets you create a number of notebooks so I can keep each project organized in its own notebook.  So as I’m sketching out topics for my next  ebook, or simply my next great idea, I reduce the actual amount of paper that I’ve been using lately.

While I’m at it, there is another little app that I have called MagicalPad.  It’s also pretty good at helping me capture the ideas that I get using mindmaps and notes.  But, what I found is that, I’m slowed down typing and clicking to add boxes – and I just feel so…organized when using it. I’m just a disorganized person.

However, with Paper I feel free scribbling, drawing, ERASING, coloring and just doing brain dumps…and being green at the same time.

Are there any techno toys that you use for motivation? Please share!
