I have a new product that I hope to be releasing soon. As I mentioned before, I’m no internet marketing guru by any means and I make tons of mistakes. I have taken advantage of an offer by John Thornhill a few weeks ago and hope to be getting his assistance with the launch of my product. I just stick with mastering creating the most unique and interesting products that I can.
In the meantime, I’ve become very motivated. I’ve had this project on the backburner for over a year now. So, what’s gotten me so motivated now? Well first, John’s offer for assistance in launching the product, of course. And second, I just saw my mini site graphics! Having something visual to show what will soon be is such a great motivator.
If you are trying to get your first ebook or video or audio course created and are struggling with just getting started, here are some tips for getting motivated.
Get Inspiration from Others
Take a look at sales pages of other people’s products. I’m sure those will inspire you to get started on yours especially because you want to finish your product and get it up for sale. Just hop over to ClickBank and check out all of the individuals in your niche (or any other topic your interested in) who have taken time to write their eBooks and have completed their sales pages and now have them up for sale! They went through the same thing as you and they made it.
Visualize Your Finished Product
A really good way to motivate yourself is to get your eCover graphics and your mini site designed and created early in the process – even before you start writing or developing. This will give you something to look at and inspire you to finish up your drafts and final versions. Having the eCovers at hand will help you to visualize your finished product and think about all the sales you will be raking in once it’s complete.
Write Out Your Sales Page
Write out your fantasy sales letter, discussing all of the benefits that your product will give your customers. As you write out the benefits, you are sure to be eager to start documenting some of what you are describing. Even if you haven’t started writing a single page in your ebook or recording a single slide of your video, you can use your sales page to outline your product help you focus on what you want to cover.
Jot Stuff Down
Just start writing without wondering what the next sentence is going to be. You just wanted jot down all of the points that you want to cover. Don’t worry about proper formatting or spelling, just get down to it and get your ideas down on paper. Once you see how many words that you’ve written and how many pages you’re building you will be motivated to write more.
I hope these tips are helpful! If you have any other ways that you get motivated please leave comments below.

Great post.
I’ve found that most people lose motivation to complete their projects when they hit that first snag. If we all kept an open mind toward roadblocks/setbacks/failures we would be able to adapt and adjust to them when they come tumbling down the mountain at us!
