Where to Find Free Photos for Your Products

There are countless numbers of stock photography sites where you can search for and buy photos for your ebooks and videos. You will pay $1 and up for a photo. I didn’t give a range prices because there is no limit to how much you will be charged for a photo! $100, $1000, it’s all up to the stock agency or the individual photographer.

But there are many free alternatives to paid stock photo sites. The photos in these sites are from photographers who, bless their hearts, want to share their pictures with the world for free.  I would like to introduce you to a search engine that allows you to search free photos to use:  Every Stock Photo

Every Stock Photo is a free website that search other free photography sites and other sources.  When you search and find a photo you like, be sure to check the license for the photo. While you don’t have to pay for the photos, you may have to provide credit to the photographer or email the photographer to let them know you’re using it.

I’ve added Every Stock Photo to the resource section, I think it’s a keeper!

    Gwen ~

Everyone appreciates finding resources like this one! Thanks for sharing Every Stock Photo.

Another one that’s very similar that I really like is called Morguefile. The name is very quirky I’m certainly in no hurry to end up in the morgue!) but it’s a great place to find free images.

    Hi Michele,

sxc.hu was one of the first free stock photo sites I used! I really appreciate how people love to share their work. I believe Every Stock Photo also searches sxc.hu as well.

Thank you for your nice comments and thanks for visiting,
    Gwen

Gwen, This is indeed a keeper and a valuable resource. I currently pay a small fee for my photos and each time it’s deducted from whatever credit I have at istockphoto.com.

I spent a lot of time searching to find the free sites and didn’t find too many that offered photos in the category I wanted, so it’s really great to have a tool that’s more effective. Thank you, Gwen.
