Have you discovered a set of specific rules that can make you succeed in your niche? Or maybe there are a number of rules that are so important that they must always be followed for your favorite hobby? If so, why not create a rule book for your topic.
That’s exactly what Maureen LoBue did. She wrote a book called Mean Mom’s Club: The Mom’s Rule Book. Even more inspirational with Maureen’s book is that she self-published it in both paperback and Kindle format and is selling it through Amazon.com.
Here are some other rule books:
- The Runner’s Rule Book: Everything a Runner Needs to Know–And Then Some
- The Rule Book for the Deviant Bride
- The Horticulturist’s Rule-Book: A Compendium of Useful Information for Fruit-Growers, Truck-Gardeners, Florists, and Others
- Floyd’s Rule Book of Bad Grammar
I hope this inspires some creativity for your next product. Remember once you write your ebook – you can publish it as a physical book, and for a digital reader such as Kindle.

I love the idea of creating Tips Booklets and in this case, Rule Books. Thanks, Gwen, for getting people inspired to rule with rules!
Since I’m a mom, I had tons of fun going to Maureen LoBue’s site and checking out her rule book for the Mean Mom’s Club! Just ask my daughters and they’ll tell you — I’m mean. And Maureen says that’s a good thing.

Hi Gwen,
Such a cool idea! I really like the idea of the “Mean Mum’s Rules” I need to check that one out. My 3 year old is already a demanding little princess that I cave into!
Actually truthfully she is only a terror for me, everyone else says she is a little angel so I must be doing something right!
Will have to think about rules for my niche, you have given me some ideas for some articles and free report.
Hope all is going great.
See you back here soon!
Cheers
Jacinta
