Are there any countering or helpfully encouraging comments regarding the above post concerning “dead sound?” M. Lange, have you had any better luck since this “dead sound” experience? Thanks!

I make training videos on screen capture format. DemoCreator seemed a perfect solution. For a few weeks it like a dream. Then it failed to capture audio and even when I could get it to capture ir failed to convert the audio to any format; I used AVI and MP4 to no avail. Sound was dead. FAQ’s were useless as it referenced an Options button that did not exist. I reinstalled from the CD and it worked again for a day then audio died. There’s no real time status of audio being recorded so you don’t know until you finish and capture whether you got any sound. The initial promise turned to total frustration as there was no response to on line support requests although to be fair holidays did intervene. Their refund policy does not include software failure. The demo (with normal watermark ) worked fine. But the real paid product had the issues.

Out of curiosity, I clicked your “Tools & Resources” link – don’t know WHY I haven’t done that till now!

This is great info, Gwen! I have zero experience with creating videos from screenshots and it’s looking like DemoCreator is something for me to consider —> the NON-TECHIE type gal.
