Creativity = Breaking the Rules

Creativity is the process of breaking the rules. Many people often complain that they get bored for no reason. They don’t like their day time job, can’t enjoy time with their family, are not healthier etc. and often this causes depression.  This  can easily be overcome with creativity.

We get bored with things which are being done in the same way, same time at same place.  The best way to get rid of boredom or monotony is to do the same stuff differently. If you are very bored with your job, make some small changes with your office structure such as changing the seating arrangements or moving something to or from the room. Playing music or planting a flower inside the room will also be enough to feel a change.

Learning some new things each day will be another creative solution to keep you away from boredom. May be a new language (just a few useful words) or a skill (you know scatting?) or getting to know a stranger and spending some time with him (like at a senior’s home). Planting new thoughts in your mind will help in reaping some creative fruits and wipe out that boredom!

If you were not that guy who spends time with kids and family in a childish manner, do it right away. This could be another powerful way to boost your creativity and make you happier than ever. All you have to worry about  is getting involved to the fullest. Getting your undivided attention is what they expect from you, though never asked for.

Being alone shall be the best time to get recharged. Affirmations or positive statements and creative visualizations can play a big role here. Go on reminding yourself that you will achieve whatever goals you have set in your life. Imagine as though you are living a life of your dreams.
