Tip: Relax Your Mind and Just Do It

How many times did you have a small task that needs to be completed (such as going online to pay a bill, or tightening a knob on a drawer, or sending out a holiday party invitation) – but you kept putting if off? There was no reason to put it off, but you just didn’t feel like doing. Then it kept coming back to haunt you and nagging at you “do me! do me!” This is because you still have it in the back of your mind that this annoying little thing needs to be done.

Here’s a tip: Complete the task when it first comes up. If it’s a simple task, get it off your list and save room for the ones that will require more effort. It’s easier to keep track of one large task than a bunch of small, simple ones. So, let your mind relax and finish those small action items!
